Welcome to Cakes ‘n’ Bakes, a tribute to gluten-free life as it should be – delicious!

My name is Laurie, and I am a registered dietitian and self-trained gluten-free baker. My goal is to develop fabulous recipes – often with a healthy twist – that will fool even your most avid gluten-loving friends and family.

Gluten-free life may be a challenge, but it should not be a restriction. So whether it is fluffy biscuits or oatmeal cookies you miss the most, I am on a mission to discover the delicious gluten-free counterpart. So prepare your taste buds and enjoy!
